About Me

About Me

Hey there, my name is Jenifer, and I offer individual and group psychotherapy to teenagers and adults with different mental health issues. I greatly enjoy the challenge of working with a wide range of people and their concerns. I do have areas of expertise and specific interests with teenage girls, young women, and parents of children with autism.

I am fully transparent with my clients. I believe that honesty and open dialog are vital when working together. I am relatable and “cool” (according to my teenage clients), and my goal is to help you find your way back to a meaningful life. Clients can say whatever they want. Nothing is too much. I have full confidence that I heard it all. Raising two teenagers of my own, I understand that sometimes you need someone who is objective and not your friend or parent. I can be that person for you. I try to make each session a place where you feel comfortable and can be your true self.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience working with all different populations with several mental health challenges. With a Bachelor of Social Work from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University, I bring a wealth of academic knowledge to my practice. My commitment to ongoing learning, combined with my extensive clinical experience, ensures that I offer comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to your unique needs.

I believe that my education, training, life and work experiences allow me to offer effective and interactive treatment in a safe and confidential place. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. Together, we will help unlock your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating!
